Admission to Postgraduate Course (Mater and Doctoral) in the country, with MHRD and some other Government Scholarship / Assistantships in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science, is open to those who qualify in GATE.
Validity of GATE 2011 score will be for a period of TWO YEARS ONLY from the date of announcement of results.
Eligibility:
The following categories of candidate are eligible for GATE appears:
1) Bachelor’s degree holder’s in Engineering / Technology / Architecture.
2) Masters Degree Holders in any branch of Science/Technology/Architecture/Computer Science.
3) Candidates in second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master’s degree programmed (Post B.Sc) in Engineering/ Technology or in the third or higher year of five year integrated Master’s degree programmed and dual degree programmed in Engineering /Technology.
4) Candidates with qualification obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed sction A or equivalent of such professional courses are eligible.
