
Ajanta Ellora Caves is located near the Aurangabad city in Maharashtra State, Ajanta Ellora Caves is a famous cave in India it is make by hand, and also it is rank amongst some of the great ancient Indian Architectural heritage. The 34 caves at Ellora and the 29 caves at Ajanta, British Army officer John Smith accidentally discover when a hunting for expedition in 1819 that this cave obscurity over a millennium. Ajanta Caves:
In the 19th century Ajanta group of caves was make, lying deep within the Sahyadri hills, cut into the curved mountain side, above the Waghora river, were discovered. They depict the story of Buddhism, spanning a period from 200 BC to 650 AD. 29 of group of caves are make with Buddhist monk who taught and performed rituals in the Chaityas and Viharas, the ancient seats of learning.
Ellora Caves:
The Ellora Caves are situated 30 kms from Aurangabad, Ellora caves 34 in number which are carved by hill. This structures are shown the example of Buddhism and Jainism faith near god.In this cave carved are built in the between 350 AD to 700 AD period. In 34 th caves The 12 caves to the south are Buddhist, the 17 in the centre dedicated to Hinduism, and the 5 caves to the north are Jain.
